Guided reading, strategy groups, close reading, and one-on-one meetings help students improve throughout different grade-level contents. I stand by the belief, that any form of small group instruction, can help students reach their educational goals. Basic supplies like whiteboards, dry erase markers, reading rulers, and sticky notes are used by students almost daily in my classroom to enhance learning. Especially during reading, students could use whiteboards and markers to show their understanding of a phonics lesson and share responses with one another during whole group and small group instruction. Similarly, the rulers and sticky notes will be a great asset when annotating and gathering evidence during reading and writing. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. In addition, the reading phones perfect for students to hear themselves reading or as you read with other students at the reading table. Lastly, the pens and sharpie markers will assist myself in color coding evidence and strategies as they're applied to learning.
