I want my children to see that entertainment is not just in the form of television or a gaming system. I want them to submerge themselves in various wonderful books. All of these books have been picked to best help my students with word recognition and comprehension. These books will help students better understand our weekly literacy themes and contribute to some very thoughtful discussions! They can be checked out of our classroom library to take home to continue the learning adventure. These books will also help foster a love of reading within our classroom! It is my goal with these books to not only help students foster an understanding of literacy but to also help foster a love of reading and learning that will last them through their life. There is nothing better than to see a love of reading in learning in a young person.
