My students are noticeably more engaged when their bellies are full. Having the snacks and supplies I have selected will help my students by giving them options to have a snack to munch on to keep their brains active and focused on their tasks. Have snacks readily available in the classroom will also cause less disruptions.
My students often have low self-worth or self-confidence. The gift items will help them feel like they are important and appreciated. By having positive self-worth my students will become more confident in themselves and therefore also their academic abilities.
Lastly, the craft items will allow my students to take a sensory break in the classroom but having individual sensory bags they can keep at their desks. I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they are regulated. They can make better choices and focus more in the classroom overall.
