The idea behind this 100 Book Challenge project is to first, get students to WANT to read, and secondly, to make the reading process an enjoyable one that can be shared with families. By providing additional books to students, they will have a various collection to choose from when they engage in the 100 Book Challenge. The book pouches will act as a home and transportation method of the books that the children wish to choose. Students will connect learning at school to learning at home as they can read and show these pieces of literature to their families.
