After a year and a half of digital learning, we're back in the classroom! We're using pencils and paper instead of staring at our Chromebooks for hours on end. I have a class of 21 students and I try to get them physically writing as much as possible since they've been typing the last 1.5 years. However, printing is expensive. I want to continue giving them physical, printed materials to write on, but the cost of toner is something I never expected to become a problem. Often times I tweak pre-made worksheets or create my own worksheets to meet my students needs, but without toner, I can't differentiate my lessons the way I want to. I bought my own laser printer, which has become a lifesaver since I no longer need to go to school on the weekends or stay late just to print homework or worksheets, and I don't have to worry about the school printer malfunctioning. I've already gone through two toner cartridges and it's been a month since school started. Please help my students and I!
