I am a first-year first-grade teacher in Oklahoma. My ideal classroom for them would have tons of flexible seating options for them to choose from. I want them to be able to choose a seat that they will learn best in and one that will engage them. I want my students to be comfortable in the class, so flexible seating is a great way to ensure that. Many of my students have trouble focusing, and I believe that giving them choice in their seating will not only engage them but will allow them to be comfortable.
