The resources I am requesting are essential for student achievement in closing the gaps in learning due to COVID-19. Currently, some of my students are behind by two or more grade levels. I am requesting reading comprehension practice cards, Can Do vocabulary games, Build a Word crayon cards. We are working on RL.2.1 (Ask and answer such questions as who, what, where, when, why, and how to demonstrate understanding of key details in a text.), as well as RF.K.1d (Recognize and name all upper- and lowercase letters of the alphabet.) I am also requesting math flash cards to help in prove number fluency.
Students missed so much vital instruction involving foundational reading skills. With these materials that gap can be closed to gain student achievement.
