Dusty's Awesome Alphabet Sounds are the perfect read to get my students. It has a book and coloring book component that is easily adaptable for my kindergarten students. After reading the book to them, I would allow them to color the letters and pictures in the coloring book. What is even better is that they will have the freedom to take it to and from school in order to further interact with the same exact text.
Building fine motor skills, and developing letter and sound recognition is such an essential component of kindergarten. Getting a class set of this text for my students would allow them to strengthen these skills in a fun and interactive way. The illustrations are engaging, and my students would love the character inside because he looks like he is their age. Getting this item would absolutely serve many purposes for my brilliant students.
