My school just opened three years ago. Resources are limited and in need. My students' first language is Portuguese and it is primarily spoken at home. As they learn to read in English, we are in need of beginning reader books. They also have a love of Science and their enthusiasm for it is addicting! Scholastic News has been a wonderful resource in the past with the ability to bring home their learning. It has a fun and engaging online interactive component too. With the addition of Science Spin, students can add on to their already curious and inquisitive minds!
