These materials will be used for a variety of things throughout the year. One of the reasons we need headphones is so the students can use them for online assessments throughout the year. The students are required to spend 1 hour per week on an online program called IXL. This program promotes engagement in student learning through offering various lessons in reading, math, science and social studies. The headphones will be used for the students to be able to hear and focus on what the computer is saying without any distractions.
