Everyone learns their first language by listening. Donating TeachersPayTeachers gift cards will allow me to purchase songs, stories, videos, and tried and true activities created and rated by other Spanish teachers. This resource will help inspire and engage students! From printable storybooks with beginning vocabulary and low individual word counts, students can read in Spanish while building their language skills gradually. Imagine trying to read a book in Spanish written for a native speaker in your first month of learning! This would be much more difficult than with the resources available on TPT, where stories are limited to fewer, high frequency words. Multimedia makes content much richer and more comprehensible, but comes with a price tag! I would love to include as many videos, songs, and activities that get students speaking in Spanish in a way that isn't too intimidating while getting a lot of input from videos and stories with images that interest students and help them understand what is being said! Imagine being told what an apple is versus being shown what an apple is. Totally different experience, right? Let's help make learning easier and more interactive!
