Our news show has been around for over 15 years. Our news studio needs some updating to make our productions more accessible to modern viewers. We have slowly been adding and upgrading the studio equipment to improve our broadcasting ability. Each piece plays an important role in our daily news show. Students learn how each member of the news crew plays a vital role in creating our show. Each of the students have specific jobs, and one of these roles is our audio specialist. This person is in charge of the audio mixer, which controls the volume of the microphones, music, and special effects. Our current audio mixer is dated and unreliable. A new mixer will help us produce the best show we can without needless technical difficulties.
