My students are learning about native plants, how to grow their own food and economics. We have started to experience some success and want to do more. We have been trying to garden with only small hand tools and watering cans. We could use some larger tools. We need some tools to help us be successful gardeners.
Students will be planting, weeding, watering, harvesting and selling the produce they grow.
They love digging in the dirt and get excited when things start to grow and they get to harvest the vegetables. They are also propagating the seeds so our work is self sustaining and students can grow food at home.
