My students come from a large, diverse, and motivated student body of around 2,000 + learners in grades 9–12, representing a wide range of cultures, voices, and backgrounds, with significant Hispanic and White populations alongside Asian and other groups. Many students are friendly, involved, and hardworking, with a strong presence in academics, arts, and extracurriculars — from IB and AP courses to engineering and the visual arts. They bring curiosity, creativity, and a range of life experiences to the classroom, making my art room a vibrant place to explore, grow, and support one another in their creative journeys.
