Make a donation Ms. Dori can use on her next classroom project.
The materials such as bean bags, a weighted blanket, emotion posters, fidget spinners, and doodling pads will help students access their own skills to be able to calm themselves and have access to learning! These tools can be used within the classroom and at home to strengthen skills.
With the materials donated, we will be focusing on developing coping skills with emotional awareness. We will use the materials to learn how emotions manifest within the body and lead to behaviors. Students will learn how the mind and body are connected in order to further help our students understand themselves. Our students are their own experts, we help to bring knowledge to what works for them.
I thank you for considering our project and helping the students of our community!
