The books that I am requesting for my first grade classroom library will help grow and foster my students' love of reading. Every school day, I choose various read alouds, trying to focus on a specific author, series, genre or season. The students listen with excitement and love to comment on the vivid pictures. After each read aloud, the kids clap with joy and beg me to read again or choose another book. I moved to first grade this year and am looking forward to building my library with books the students will enjoy!
