Students will learn about mono type printmaking. They will explore how different textures look in the printmaking process as they explore with materials such has lace, bubble wrap, stencils, found object in nature, string, and so much more.
They will also learn how color theory plays a part as they layer their prints to make deep seascapes. We will discuss how color can create a mood in their work as well as which colors compliment each other whether it be analogous or complimentary. The best part about this project is that it is very organic and surprising every single pull of the print!
