My fourth graders love to read, but they have been reading on their tablets for the last 18 months. I would love for them to begin reading from books again, to be able to hold a book and to turn the pages. These books will be used to start a new classroom library and give my students a chance to discover a love for books. The feeling of being able to escape from their problems and use their imagination to relieve the stress of a young person's life is priceless.

About my class
