During our anthropolgy unit, the students do specific measurements on the bones of a caucasian male. I've always wanted them to be able to also makes measurements and do comparisons on female bones, as well as different ethnicities.
I've used pictures to demonstrate the anthropological similarities and differences in the past, but the students have a hard time making the identifications based on pictures alone. Having this model would enhance their learning by a large degree if I had available physical models for which they could better visualize and understand the skeletal differences.
