Obtaining these VHF/UHF radios will allow students to learn not only how wireless communication works, but also how repeaters work. Furthermore, students will be able to use these radios during HAM Fest and Wireless Communication Competitions.
Students will be able to obtain an FCC Radio License and learn how to properly communicate on the radio. These skills will translate into working for the government, state, city, FEMA, providing emergency communications (Natural Disasters), Military Communications, and even preparing them for those that want to enter the engineering field or other STEM careers.
