As a counselor, I work with many students on a one-on-one personal setting, as well as in the classroom. My students often ask me how to control or display the emotions they are going through, in the appropriate manner. Having tools such as games, cards, and other tools for success will act as a buffer as we build rapport and learn about the steps to identify emotional awareness and make healthy mindset goals.
I would like to help my students feel more comfortable in my space to share as well as recognize that having anxiety is normal, and can be controlled.
