High school students in our Legal Studies program are constantly asked to apply what they learn in class to a variety of factual scenarios. We use law-related movies, television shows, and literary fiction to sharpen their critical thinking and analysis skills. Unfortunately, we do not have sufficient literary texts to support our growing program.
A law library of legal fiction novels would provide students an excellent opportunity to apply what they learn in class to interesting stories, honing their critical thinking skills in distinguishing potential real-world applications from pure fiction.
