Our group of first graders did not have the opportunity to be in a classroom for kindergarten this past year. They missed out on important social interaction, sharing and having time to explore and create. Having the Lego sets will provide breaks during the day (as they would have had in kindergarten), as well as expand their language skills and overall well-being. Having an opportunity for a 鈥 brain-break鈥 at school provides comfort and security in being able to make choices.
We are looking forward to having hands-on, educational items for the classroom.
About my class
