I will be using these materials to increase my students' interest in reading. Having a large and comfortable carpet space for my class to sit, will allow for more enjoyable reading time together. Being able to get my class out of their desks and into a more comfortable space will make such a difference. Finding books that get my class excited about reading is a huge priority for me. Having more books that are my students' favorites will continue to help them build the necessary literacy skills as they get ready for middle school.
