Our basketball team doesn’t have a game ball that can be used per regulations for a middle school game. Our basketballs are the ones used for PE and recess daily. Every school should have access to quality equipment. By buying new basketballs, our basketball teams will be able to practice with the same balls we play with when we travel to other schools. This will impact 7th and 8th grade boys and girls, as well as the sixth graders that can come to open gym before the season starts. We will be purchasing five boys’ and five girls’ balls.
