Students will need dictionaries for their writing center so they can correctly learn to spell using various resources. I have also set a professional goal to engage students through multiple sensory experiences which include touch, hearing, seeing, and smell. The tools I have picked will greatly help my students who are not performing at grade level due to the COVID pandemic. The reason students need to have the listening center is so that they can use this as an aide for word recognition and proper pronunciation. This will aide their academic goal of having 1.5 years in reading growth for those who are performing under grade level.
