Students will get to use classroom math, science, and reading curriculum knowledge and integrate it with engineering and technology. Students will get to extend learning with hands-on experiences. Coding robots will help younger kids learn to code in a hands-on way. The hydroponics kit and books will help older 4th and 5th graders look at real-world problems and come up with solutions. 2nd and 3rd graders will incorporate math and learn how to code rollercoasters. The lessons I make with these materials will use the engineering process and help students build resilience, perseverance, and problem-solving skills.
