The AHS Project Havens supplies will help equalize the playing field for pregnant and parenting students and students experiencing homelessness.
Snacks will be provided so students don't have to worry about hunger while inside or outside of school. Many of our students experiencing homeless are athletes so the school meals provided do little to last into the evening hours of practice and games.
Clothing and hygiene items will ensure students have access to what they need regardless of their financial circumstances.
My hope is the less students have to worry about basic needs, the more they are able to focus on a quality education.
