My students have arrived in our 3rd grade classroom ready to learn and grow this year. And after a year and a half of online and hybrid instruction they are so excited to be back in school full time!
Flexible seating will help my students take ownership over their learning journey, as they create physically comfortable workspaces that are just right for them. Every child has unique strengths and needs, and my goal is to make our physical learning environment reflect this fact!
Portable writing tables will allow my students to write and draw anywhere in the room, and can foster partner and small-group work by expanding our options for creating flexible seating configurations in our classroom. We have a variety of cushions available for the students to use as they read books independently, but we don't yet have enough for everyone! With floor seats and a bean bag chair, every student will be able to create a comfortable space to really dive into their books.
Your contribution will enhance our learning environment by expanding seating possibilities for my students! And when they've found that spot that works for their bodies, their minds can take on new challenges that will foster their academic and personal growth.
