Having this book for us to read in class will give them insight into a different time period and help them improve their reading abilities. They will learn about history through this classic fictional text. They will also be able to work on literary elements in reading class.
Number the Stars is a book that I believe all 5th graders should read while in my class. I am hoping this book will inspire some of them to brave things just like the main character does. This author is amazing!
