These items will help create more task boxes for my students' fine motor and academic needs. We have the task boxes to make our lessons more hands-on and engaging. Our students will be able to take the Legos and magnets and let them use a hands-on approach to the concept we are teaching.
The items will also give my students access to more fidgets that will help with the variety of sensory needs that my students need. My students can at times have a hard time sitting still or concentrating without some type of movement. I have noticed that the fidgets help them stay focused while letting them get that energy out as well. They also use these fidgets when they are needing some time to calm down in our calming corner. The pencils and light covers help them with that sensory overload that can be caused by the harsh lights in the room and the pens and pencils are designed to help them with fine motor issues that they may have.
