Once we have the Ukuleles in hand, grade levels will take turns learning about the instrument and learn to play some basic chords. I would love to get the kids confident enough to jam out to some of their favorite songs, create their own progressions, and even write some lyrics to their own songs. This project will get us one step closer to fostering musical people to enjoy and create music in a variety of ways. Students are looking for a RELEVANT way to connect to music. To connect to their music.

About my class
