The ultimate goal of this project is to create a student-centered, open and accessible collaborative workspace; modeled after a collegiate-level library and maker studio. Ultimately, an iPad would serve as an engaging extension of the classroom environment.
It would foster and encourage innovation, while allowing for new opportunities, personalized learning and growth, exploration, creation, planning and sharing. This maker space and iPad would bring relevance to a student’s academic subjects and serve as a place for the application of concepts in the real-world. The iPad, being part of the larger Maker Space, would help to reinforce these skills.
