With this all-in-one printer, I will be able to have increased engagement with parents in the form of weekly newsletters and special activity flyers. Many of our parents do not have access to the internet or email, and a weekly newsletter provides them with the opportunity to stay abreast of what their child is working on at school. The students will help create these items, then practice valuable job skills by printing and distributing copies.
We will also be increasing engagement with community stakeholders. Students will be able to fax flyers about our many community-based projects to local businesses. Our current project is a flower garden in the front of our school.
