My aspiring 3rd graders are located in an inner city Title 1 impoverished community. The majority are Latinos and come from single family households whose parents hold multiple jobs to sustain their family. Although my students come to school with issues, they come to me with an open mind and a willingness to learn. It is my duty as an educator to meet their needs.
