The use of these items is for hands-on learning, which is critical for the pre-k level. Engaging, interactive, hands-on, and fun activities will be used to guide student’s learning. A chair will be used for the library center where students can relax and enjoy books. Organizational items will be used for centers so that the materials stayed organized and accessible for fun learning. The students could also use these items at home because we will have multiple ways to practice each TEK/guideline from our Pre-k curriculum and head start program.
