I have been presented with the opportunity to incubate eggs for my class. An outside-of-the-school resource has offered to give my class eggs in order to do this project. These materials will help my students learn about life science, specifically embryology. A lot of my students will not ever get the chance to experience the life cycle of many animals. Some don't even know where their food comes from. Embryology is an easy way to teach the students about life cycles and show the growth of the embryo along the way. Students would get to see the growth of the embryo with the egg candler. The students would also get to witness baby chicks being started on a brooder process.
