This African American studies course is designed to develop an understanding of the causes, character, and consequences of the African American experience and its influence on the world, the United States, and the African American community. Beginning with a historical, geographical, social, political, economic, and cultural understanding of the African continent, the course will provide a descriptive and corrective overview which will introduce the student to the study of the African and African American experiences.
These materials would mean so much to the esteem of my students. I am the school librarian. I am also responsible for teaching a course. Librarian classes are typically small and can be housed in a small room in the library. Well, my school population was excited about this course. The class was too large to fit in our usual location. The only available room was a t-building classroom. It was dismal at best. I've been trying to give it flair. However, the condition of the walls and the floor prohibit that. These floor tiles and this paint will change everything.
I have a passion for African American Studies. Working with my entire student population gives me joy but this course is my heart's work. I thank anyone who assists.
