My "English as a Second Language" and special needs students require specific learning tools to better access the curriculum and differentiate instruction. In English language development, students respond well to pictures as forms of communication and expression. These materials will assist me in developing their English language literacy through appropriate scaffolding during my lessons. My students will use these language development materials to build multi-tier vocabulary and overall literacy. These young Bostonians have had many amazing experiences in their journeys. Please help me to bring them the tools to effectively immerse into English curriculum and share their stories through writing!
