Students will have choices on what works best for their own personalized learning. Everyone needs different things to learn and this project allows them to have options of what is best for them. Sometimes all it takes is a hand fidget, wiggle cushion, or stretchy band to engage student learning.
The books/resources offer teachable moments/strategies to help students learn how to self-regulate their bodies to be at their best to learn! Social-emotional learning is just as important as learning reading, writing, math, and content. Students need strategies to help them deal with everyday emotions. I am hopeful that this project can help them!
