The calculators will be a class set that my students will be provided with during their labs or during tests. I have been asking them to use their cell-phones during class as calculators but they tend to get distracted when I allow them to use their phones. Calculators will make it much easier for me to not lose them as they do their work
The Expo markers are for us to use on whiteboards, so that I can easily see where my students are getting lost during mathematical problems. We will use them during initial class discussions so that I can effectively do checks for understanding and see whether or not I'm explaining the concepts enough.
The molecular kit will allow me to provide my kids with a visual and textile example of molecules. Many of my students have let me know that they are visual learners and that they prefer to actively do things with their hands!
