My students will be able to learn about weather concepts through the use of hands-on tools in our new weather station! Inside the weather station, there will be a variety of tools that will help the students learn about temperature, air pressure, humidity, wind speed, and more. By using these tools every day, the students will understand weather patterns and be able to make weather predictions as well.
My students will get the opportunity to become classroom meteorologists as they share the daily weather report with the entire class. This will help us understand the weather around us, but also help the students practice science vocabulary, measurement concepts, and even public speaking! Funding this project will help the learning go into the students' hands.
