These materials will help create a welcoming reading and study area where students will feel invited and inspired to read independently or with a partner. Students will also use it to collaborate with classmates. The additional supplies will promote organization of phonics and reading centers. Students will use the play doh as a tactile way to practice letter name identification on letter mats. The tempera paints will give students the opportunity to create art as well offer another format to practice alphabet letter names and sounds. The students will use the supplies on a daily basis.
