I am asking for funding so that the students can create a fort using giant building blocks. The students will be able to create a space and this will foster creativity, cooperative play, and communication. The giant building blocks are easy to sanitize and easy to manipulate and build for these students with special needs. These at risk students that have very few educational and developmentally appropriate things in many of their homes.
The therapy fort will provide for learning and development and may be the highlight of their day!
