Science in Kindergarten is hard with all the scientific facts and big words. Little minds need big tools to help them understand. Our goal is to investigate, explore and create using our five senses. How better to learn big concepts than by hands-on fun?! You don't get to experience and witness the ooh's and ahh's of a caterpillar turning into a butterfly through a video on the screen! My students will watch transformation right before their eyes. After the release of the butterflies, we will learn about how to treat things in nature and take care of the environment around us. My students will observe, track, record and ask amazing questions about the weather around them and the season that they're in!
