Helping my students obtain basketball goals and soccer nets will help them to have something to do during their HAC time. Currently, our HAC time is on our school's blacktop with nothing for them to play with. This is the first year our eighth graders have had the opportunity to really enjoy HAC time, however, we have no materials for them to play with. For many of my students once they leave school they are headed straight home to help take care of their siblings while parents work long hours to provide and HAC time is the only time for the majority of my students to enjoy being just a kid and having fun. They have turned boxes in hoops and random balls into soccer and basketballs in order to have something to play with. We have been fighting the war for our kids to have time to be active kids during the school day and we have finally won. Now we need your help to get them the materials to play with! We thank you for considering our project!
