Thank you for your interest in my project. The diverse learning needs of my students require creativity, hands-on lessons, and engaging activities. Lessons that look like toys and games are essential to catch their attention and keep them on task. I intend on using the Mystery Box, Vocabulary Development Photo Cards, Early Language Activity Boxes, Building Language Lotto, and Touch Match Guessing Game in teacher-directed small group settings at first. Once the children are familiar with the activities, I will facilitate more independent usage. I ultimately want to use the mystery box as a show and tell vessel where one student brings an object and the other students describe what they feel and try to guess what is in the box.
I look forward to the smiles on my students' faces while we use these materials to increase communication skills while having fun.
