A sand and water table will allow my students to engage in sensory play. Sensory play is an important early childhood activity for a number of reasons. Touching water and sand has calming effects. It is also a way for young students to engage in math and science concepts such as volume and weight. An easel is an essential item that would allow my students to explore art and support their creativity. We have a new dollhouse for our classroom. We just need furniture to make it ready for play!
