Surprisingly sparking students' interest is not as simple as giving students iPads or Chromebooks, especially after distance learning. Unleashing this mini robot in class really can spark the curiosity of students. Students can act like scientists, observing the robot in action in its natural habitat.
A teacher explains what happens to his students when the Roomba does it's thing during class. "Yung’s students learned all about how the Roomba moves, behavior and how it works."
Students will be able to think about why the Roomba is a good thing or bad, what improvements can be made and what mini robot they might make. They will be able to draw their own robots or draw improvements for the Roomba.
