Since returning to in-class learning, I am trying to engage my students as much as possible to address the learning gaps created by the COVID pandemic. Students need hands-on learning that is engaging and fun; most students thrive with manipulatives. The multiplication cubes, multiplication bingo, science kit, and vocabulary games will strengthen their skills to increase achievement in the Nevada 4th-grade academic content standards. These activities will provide more effective learning choices in a small group setting; creating stations for the students to rotate through on a regular basis. I have seen how choice can positively affect my students' work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help them grow even more. I would like to have a color printer in my class to assist with printing the student's projects. With the color printer, I will be able to print their projects and display them in the classroom. My students love to see their work displayed in the classroom and the halls. Currently, I do not have access to a color printer at my school and everything is printed in blank and white.
